Future Mindedness in Single Middle Adult Women

This article examines future mindedness among single middle adult women. In line with the dominant culture, most parents in Indonesia rely on their children for support old age. Some women, however, choose to remain and childless. focuses its exploration ways which these unmarried, childless women plan prepare lives Using case-study approach employing, as theoretical framework, Seginer’s concept of mindedness, we collected our data through semi-structured interviews four aged 42 55, who served research participants. After triangulating data, interpreted it using thematic analysis method. Our study produced findings. First, comfortable being single, three had no desire marry.
